How a customer’s request becomes your job.

Every lead follows the same six steps. Nothing is shared, nothing is hidden, and you choose every lead you pay for.

  1. A customer asks for quotes

Someone near you describes the job: what needs doing, where and when. They ask through VeryBookedAI, our directory or one of our local sites, and agree to be contacted by the business that takes the request.

Example customer request with the job, place, timing and contact preference.
  2. We check it before you see it

The phone number is checked with the mobile network, the email address is validated and the request is compared with the last 30 days to catch duplicates. A request that fails is never offered.

Example of the checks run before a request is offered to businesses.
  3. The offer reaches the businesses that cover it

Businesses covering that trade and area receive the offer at the same time, by email and in the dashboard. You see the job, the area and the price, never the customer’s name or number. The offer stays open for 2 hours during business hours and 12 hours outside them.

Example lead offer showing the job, area, price and deadline, with the contact details locked until purchase.
  4. Buy it, and it is yours alone

Pay from your prepaid wallet. The customer’s details unlock straight away and the offer closes for every other business. No subscription, no commission, no bidding.

Example bought lead with the customer’s name and contact actions, paid from the wallet.
  5. Get in touch within 24 business hours

Call, text or email the customer and move the job through your pipeline in the included CRM. If no contact is logged within 24 business hours, the lead returns to your wallet as credit and is offered again: you lose the lead, not the money.

Example pipeline: new, contacted, quoted and won.
  6. Faulty lead? The money comes back

Report a problem within 14 days of buying. Clear-cut faults such as a disconnected number are approved automatically; anything else is reviewed within 2 business days, and approved returns are credited to your wallet.

Example return request: a disconnected phone number, checked and credited back to the wallet.

What counts as a faulty lead

A lead is credited back for a fault in the lead, never for the outcome of the job. Winning and losing work is part of quoting; paying for a broken lead is not.

Credited back to your wallet

  • Contact details that are invalid or disconnected
  • A job outside the area you cover
  • A job for a trade you don’t offer
  • A duplicate of a request from the last 30 days
  • Spam, or a competitor testing you
  • Someone without authority to hire, such as a minor or a job-seeker
  • A customer you can’t reach after at least two calls and two messages over three days, once we have checked with them

Not a fault

  • You didn’t win the job
  • The customer chose another business
  • The customer changed their mind
  • The customer was comparing prices

Returns are paid as wallet credit, not cash, and return credit stays valid for 12 months.
